Embryonic Stars Emerge From Interstellar "EGGS"
Eerie, dramatic new pictures from NASA's Hubble
Space Telescope show newborn stars emerging from
"eggs" -- not the barnyard variety -- but
rather dense, compact pockets of interstellar
gas called evaporating gaseous globules (EGGs).
Hubble found the "EGGs," appropriately enough,
in the Eagle nebula, a nearby star-forming
region 7,000 light-years away in the
constellation Serpens.

Shiva - Lord of the Dance
of the creation and destruction of the universe.
"In the symbolism of Shiva's Cosmic Dance is
hidden a deep understanding of how our
universe works, from the tiny atom to
inconceivable immense intergalactic spaces.
Shiva's unending dance of creation,
preservation and destruction is art, science
and religion merged as one. When we behold His
dance, the world is seen as it truly is -
sacred. Every happening within it is His
divine will."
From "Shiva's Cosmic Dance: An
Introduction to the World's Most Ancient
Religion, Saivite Hinduism."
